I have the honour to report that I have

appointed, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's

pleasure, Mr. Thomas Henry King to be temporarily an

Official Member of the Legislative Council in the

place of Mr. E.D.C. Wolfe, C.M.G., who resigned from the Council on his departure from the Colony on leave

prior to retirement.
